The problem with “proof-texting”, using theologians and scripture alike, is that often the context of the text gives lie to the point which is being attempted. Your comment is a fine example of that. What Gerd Theissen (note spelling) actually said was:
A slightly more complex position than your “yah-booh-facts-good-faith-bad” position, don’t you think?

But this belief isn’t false, namely “link spam is rude”
